The containers are finished with a specialist coating, spray-applied at 140 bar and 70 °C — which produces a uniform, seamless protective coating.

Corrosion protection for up to 20 years

The specialist coating forms a sealed barrier against moisture, salts and chemicals. Ideal for long-term outdoor exposure.

Blast and fragment resistance

Kinetic energy from fire or an explosion is spread across a larger surface, reducing the shock wave and ricocheting.

Self-sealing after penetration

The outer surface reseals after fragments and penetrations from 12.7 calibre / 2 mm and 7.92 calibre / up to 0.5 mm.

Coated inside and out

A 3 mm outer layer plus a 2 mm inner layer. Better structural protection and sanitary conditions inside.

Fully modular

The specialist coating is available across a wide range of RAL colours. Colours fade under UV; a masking paint finish is possible.

Every container comes with the base specialist coating (3 mm outside). Below, add the protective layers that suit your environment and use case.

Can I order just a coated container?

Yes. We can supply a prepared and coated container without any interior fit-out.

Can the container be prepared for the client's equipment?

Yes. We can prepare the structure, openings, feed-throughs, installations and mounting elements to the technical requirements you supply.

Does the colour have to be RAL 6014?

No. RAL 6014 is one of the suggested options. The colour can be specified individually; colours fade under UV.

Is a complete interior fit-out possible?

Yes. The scope can cover insulation, electrical installations, lighting, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and interior construction.

Do you make openings, doors and feed-throughs?

Yes. The scope of structural changes is agreed before production starts.

Are 20' and 40' containers available?

Yes. The size depends on the intended use and the floor area required.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the scope — from a few weeks for a coated container to a few months for a complete fit-out. We confirm the date in the quote.

Is the coating tested for blast resistance?

The Total Shield coating parameters have been supplemented with a PRS certificate — STANAG 2920/30 (shock wave resistance testing).
